Amy Latawiec is an experienced and innovative interior designer focused on serving and educating others for over 20 years.  She earned her bachelor's degree in interior design from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in 2006.  Amy established her career at several design groups in Whidbey Island, Washington and Charleston, South Carolina. She then decided to follow her other passion, teaching, and received her Master's degree in Art of Teaching at College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina in 2014.  After experiencing great accomplishments in her education career, Amy then decided to jump back into her first love and passion of design here in Denver, Colorado.  As an interior designer, Latawiec's main focus is serving the client.  Amy works on projects of all sizes, from complete design services to simply helping clients choose the perfect paint colors for their home. Interior design is not just a job for Amy – it’s a passion. She enjoys building relationships with all kinds of clients, and enjoys the variety of experiences a design career provides.  She also uses her talents to educate the public about what interior design involves and how clients can continue to love their space.  The continued relationship and impact of the finished design with each client is very rewarding to Amy.

I’ve always believed that thoughtful design has the power to change how people experience themselves and the spaces around them. A Colorado native, I’ve always been inspired by beauty, meaningful connection, and the belief that the spaces we create can influence how people live, gather, and grow. My journey into home staging may be newer, but creating beauty, connection, and meaningful experiences has been at the heart of my work for nearly 20 years. Drawing from studies in business, fine arts, and fashion design, along with nearly two decades of experience in the beauty industry, I’ve spent much of my career helping people see themselves—and their surroundings—in a new light. My perspective has also been shaped by travel and experiences beyond Colorado, including time spent in Israel, Germany, Mexico, and other culturally rich places that deepened my appreciation for architecture, design, and the unique ways people create a sense of home. Those experiences continue to inspire the way I approach design today, blending beauty, functionality, and authenticity. What draws me to staging is the opportunity to create spaces that inspire people. I believe thoughtful design has the power to bring beauty, warmth, and connection into everyday life. From meeting with clients to thoughtfully selecting furnishings, artwork, and finishing touches, I enjoy creating environments that feel welcoming, authentic, and intentionally designed. The smallest details can transform a space and leave a lasting impression. Having grown up in Colorado and now serving many of the same communities I once called home, it is especially meaningful to help clients create spaces where people gather, connect, and grow.

My journey into design is still relatively new, but it has brought me more joy than I ever imagined. Having grown up in Colorado and spent many summers traveling near and far, I’ve always loved how new places, people, and experiences can expand our perspective and inspire creativity. After graduating high school, I knew I wanted a career where I could be creative, serve others, and stay connected to the place I call home. I found exactly that through design. What I love most is creating spaces that feel beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming—spaces that allow others to truly feel at home. Creativity has always been a part of who I am. As a child, I expressed it through painting with the brightest colors I could find and constantly rearranging and redesigning my bedroom—sometimes every other weekend! Looking back, I can see how those early passions helped shape the designer I am today. Each home and every client brings a new opportunity to create something meaningful. My goal is not simply to design beautiful spaces, but to help people experience the comfort, peace, and joy that thoughtful design can bring. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and serve through this work every day. One of the greatest blessings of this profession is working alongside talented colleagues who continually inspire me. Together, we strive to create spaces that reflect beauty, purpose, and care. I truly hope and pray that every home we have the privilege of working in allows our clients to experience the wonder and joy that beautiful design can bring.
